Drink holder camera mount

I was looking for a place to mount my camera for a long time now and after looking at Brian Morganti's setup I decided I would do the same thing since I already have the truck bed bar, bogen tripod head and clamp. While checking dimensions I noted that the cup holder that slides out of the dash is just about in the right spot. Well, why not make the cup holder be the clamp position? I used a 1" length of dowel, two hose clamps and a cabinet door support and transformed my cup holder into an in-car camera mount. I will be testing it tonight to see if it's strong enough to hold my Sony HDR-FX1 video camera - but so far it seems pretty good. I may add an extra brace on the drivers side to stiffen it up.

I just don't have anything to say recently. Today was a total loss, but it's not important. Not much on my mind to speak of, but that's how it is. I've just been letting everything happen without me. I can't be bothered with anything recently.
