Last night was a race between tornado warned storms in ne CO. Today eastern CO lights up again as unseasonably moist air upslopes against the mountains!

(I felt for you last evening when you came to the "Pavement Ends" sign. "NOOOO!!!!")
AT 255 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A POSSIBLE TORNADO 6
MILES WEST OF BRIGHTON...OR 19 MILES NORTH OF DENVER. THIS STORM
WAS MOVING NORTH AT 5 MPH. SEVERAL REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE
BEEN REPORTED ALONG A DEVELOPING BOUNDARY THAT STRETCHES FROM
AROUND LAKEWOOD TO NEAR FORT LUPTON.
