SPC's 4-8 day outlook shows Kansas in the potential severe from Sat-Tues but looking at the NAM and GFS I'm just not seeing it. There is a little cape sneaking in behind the cold front but most of the energy stays down in OK and TX. Now I wouldn't be opposed to a chase in TX as long as it's the panhandles. My chasecation is 9 days away now and I'll be able to go anywhere in the great plains to photograph severe weather!
