Focus shifts to Mar 7 - 9

Well no chasing this weekend with not even a "See Text" being thrown out about this Saturday by the SPC. Now the focus shifts to next Tues - Thurs March 7 - 9 as the GFS is showing some potential once again. Tony L, Chris R, Tim S and Tom D are all picking up on next week's scenario and we've got an email thread going about it, drooling over what could be the first chase of the year! More later when I have a chance to analyze the model data...

Back from looking at the GFS. Best chase day looks like Wednesday in central OK. There are good Tds up to 60F, 850Mb 40kt southerlies and a good 80kt jet streak punching into the area at 0Z. Tuesday has westerly low level flow and Thursday the action moves too far east.

Right now Weds is the day, target Woodward, OK!
